CraftsUprint - So Much Fun

CraftsUprint, Card Kits

Time for an update I think.  I have found some really lovely 3D cards at CraftUprint

This is "Classic Chrysler". Easel Card.  Beautiful Male Card.

These cards are so addictive

Just love these two new cards I made from Card Kits available at CraftsUprint.

A few more Cards

Keepsake Memory Treasure Box Cards.

The Card Below was something I have wanted to try for a while but every time I looked at the cut file I got confused.  I eventually braved it and of course it was easier than I thought.

My Latest card from CraftsUprint.
Beautiful soft and lacy Wedding Card.

Another card kit from CraftUprint.

The design is by  "Tina Finch"at CraftsUprint.

The following card kits can be found at

This was my first experience with "Card Kits".  I enjoyed making up this card so much that I went back for more.  This one came with inside insert and envelope so it was a complete project.

The next three are also card kits but some come with inserts and some not.  All very beautiful.

Exciting New Class "Create and Learn" at Kit and Clowder

Pencils Monthly "Create and Learn" class at Kit and Clowder.
Such great projects, learning to colour the backgrounds, as well as create the background.

Create and Learn, with Kit and Clowder and the lovely Alyce Keegan.

These monthly classes are a complete project from image too background.  There is so much to learn from each one.  They come in Pencils class for those who prefer to use color pencils or if you prefer Marker, such as Copic, Spectrum Noir etc.  there is a class for those as well.
I also indulged in the technique classes.  These cover, Skin and Hair, Clothing-Pleats and folds, and the Animal coloring technique class.  I learned so much from these classes that I am now coloring and hanging pictures on my wall.  The classes have also given me an insight to what sort of "drawing" I would like to venture into, the classes have allowed me to understand what my "talent" and "flow" are best applied to.

Onto August Create and Learn

This Create and Learn Class for August - Markers was covering and Ice Wall.
There was also a free Background Handbook, with video, Part 1.

I loved this new Octavia Frosted Winter - Penguins, so much I used the Ice Wall from the class.

This image is from The Create and Learn Class - Brick wall - Pencils.

This is a image of the July Markers "Create and Learn" class.

Technique-Still water, ripples, rainbow and reflection.

Create and Learn June Projects.

This is the finished image for the class.
 Technique-Grass, flowers, rolling clouds

 This beautiful "Red Panda
" is the Pencils project in the June "Create and Learn"

Here is the May Create and Learn Project for Markers.  Such lovely techniques to be learned

Here is the image for the April, monthly "Create and Learn Class" at "Kit and Clowder".  The digi is "Octavia Moonfly Unicorn".  I really enjoyed learning to colour more professional backgrounds and "Octavia Moonfly" is one of my favourite Polka Doodles collections.

Hello again all.  Today I am not adding any new images, even though I have a few to post up here.  Today I am going to rave about Alyce Keegan's new Classes over at Kit and Clowder.  I have completed all of the technique classes and a few project classes, but this new class is even more exciting.  It is a monthly subscription class and has too much to explain, better you go and have a look for yourself.

If you have ever thought of improving your colouring skills, this is the place to be.  I have watched hundreds of FREE video and Youtube, but nothing compares to Alyce Keegans classes.  I wish now I hadn't wasted the months of FREE video learning little and getting confused with all the different opinions and style.  I leared it all it just a few months with Alyce Keegan and Kit and Clowder.

Even if you have never thought of colouring, but have an artistic yearn that needs filling, Kit and Clowder is the place to go.  I just wanted to colour images on hand made cards.  Now, although I still enjoy card making, the colouring classes have led me onto greater things.  I am taking some drawing lessons and my aim for the future is to produce Framed Art Work.  This was only a long lost dream until I discovered Kit and Clowder with Alyce Keegan and the wonderful group of Clowdies.

It really would be worth your while to take a peek at all that is on offer.

Polkadoodles Octavia and Eden Series of Cards.

Two more of the Eden series of Cards.  There are still two more in the series and then onto the new Serenity Series.

I was just awards the RAK for the month.  I was chosen for my colouring journey.  I am so honoured.  I was given two digi's of my choice as a gift for this.

Eden Cherry Blossoms by Polka Doodle Dandies

Eden Bird Cage from Polka Doodle Dandies

Today I would like to share the Octavia cards I have been making.  There are Nine Digi images in the series.  If you would like to look further at the Polka Doodle digi's, stamps, cut files and so much more, just go to this link.  The sets have background papers, elements and tags as well as the coloured images and digi images.

"Octavia Moonfly Wistful" is where I started, I hope they bring out a few more Octavia Digi's at Polka Doodles Dandy.  I chose the Pinks for this image.

I just love Octavia Moonfly Dragonfly, this one is in Blues and Pinks, although the blue papers don't show up well in this photo.

"Octavia's Moonfly Washing Day"  I can't say it my favourite as I love them all, but I do like this one a lot. I coloured this one with Purples and Turquoise, and of course the Pink.

I have also added some of the lovely things I have made for Easter gifts, using cut files.

Much better than too much chocolate.  Did I hear you say there is no such thing as too much Chocolate.  hee hee

Quick Cards Issue 137 - Free Stamp Set.

I was in need of a change in my craft lately.  I wasn't sure what to do until I received my copy of Quick Cards, Issue 137.  The free gift this month was a set of stamps.  They were beautiful and the inspiration in the magazine for using the stamps really got me.  So I gave them a try and was very pleased with the results.

Here are the three cards I made up yesterday with the stamp set.

This was the third card I made.  I had the image coloured up but didn't know what to do with her.  I fussy cut her and put her over some embossing and then embossed across the bottom again.

These two were example shown in the Quick Cards Magazine.

A few cards made for Birthdays and a lot of practise

Here are a few new cards I have made recently.  Some are for birthdays and some are just for practise.

This is a Pen Holder for the Silhouette Sketch pens.  Keeps them nice and tidy and easy to find.

I made these 6x6" card boxes for those lovely embellished cards.

This is a display box for 6x6 cards in cellophane.  It keeps them neat and tidy in the shop where I sell them.

I am starting to use some flowers and embellishments on my cards.  This is why I needed a box for cards, I didn't want these getting crushed if they are to be mailed.

This card was a GDT card for Slinky Tarts Digi Stamps.

I asked my daughter is she had a suggestion for a birthday card for her partner.  She said anything funny.  He is so good with the kids and the house that I thought this very apt.

I have a passion for Zentagle lately, I am trying to finish this one off in an A4 size for a frame.

Colouring with Pencils - With Alyce Keegan at Kit and Clowder

I seem to have gained a thirst for learning Art.  I have now completed the Colouring with Pencils Class over at Kit and Clowder and so happy with the results.  As usual with Alyce Keegans classes at Kit and Clowder, they were easy to follow lessons that gave a wealth of information.  Here are the results.
